International Women’s Day – Your Favourite Female Wedding Suppliers
Happy International Women’s Day! All week we have been showcasing incredible female wedding business owners in and around Liverpool. We have covered pretty much every type of supplier, and today we are turning it over to you! We did a shout out on Instagram stories for your recommendations, and here is what came through…
Flamingo Boulevard Bridal Salon
Jazmin is obsessed with weddings and Las Vegas (she got married on Flamingo Boulevard!) and her shop is stocked with a curated selection of designers. She caters for brides who like a modern style, bohemian looks, or anything that is beyond traditional. She also makes veils and painted leather jackets that are to die for. Check out her website for notifications of special trunk shows and her latest collections.
Olive Owl Flowers
I met Sarah recently at Hinterlands Wedding Fair where she had designed the most stunning table layout! She is based in Wigan but covers the Liverpool area, and designs the most gorgeous florals using lots of texture and colour. She has an eco friendly ethos, which is always a plus. She also offers wedding bouquet preservation so that you can keep your flowers forever. See her website for more info.
Sophie Colligan Humanist Ceremonies
Humanist weddings are marriage or partnership ceremonies conducted in the way you would like, in any venue or outdoor location of your choice. Unlike a civil ceremony, which can only take place in a registered venue, a humanist wedding can take place anywhere. Sophie enjoys hearing why a couple fell in love with each other and have chosen to make a commitment together. Her celebrations are personal and insightful, isn’t that just a beautiful thing? Read more about Sophie and what Humanist Ceremonies are about at her website.
Rachel Burt Photography
Rachel is a wedding photographer who loves couples who want to do things differently. She has a colourful, fun, documentary style with a touch of quirkiness. She is a creative, relaxed, and fun person who loves animals and tea. If her website is anything to go by, she is colourful, upbeat, and super cute too!
Three Graces Bake Shop
Based in the Baltic Triangle, Three Graces Bake Shop is a partnership between Braidy and Cath. These women formerly had individual baking businesses, but decided to join forces and create a powerhouse of cake making! They provide cakes to many local cafes and restaurants as well as stunning wedding cakes. They cater for vegans as well, which is very handy to know. Get in touch with them via their website.
White Closet Studios
Zoey’s lovely boutique is situated on the iconic Rodney Street in the heart of Liverpool. She has a passion for offering brides something different from the norm and stocks some seriously luxurious modern designers that will make you stand out from the crowd. Take a look at her collections on her website.
Hannah Carson MUA
Hannah is obsessed with weddings and loves makeup! She offers a range of packages for your big day including a makeup and glitter stand at your actual event. Using only high-end brands, she creates looks that are tailored to you. She has recently opened a studio within The Wedding House so pop in to say hello, or visit her website to learn more.
We’ve loved sharing so many amazing women in business this week! Who else would you recommend?
