First Dance Q&A with Ballroom Blitz
The first dance can be a nerve wracking experience especially if being on the dance floor isn’t normally your kind of thing!
There are a few things you can do to make the whole experience a little more fun..
- Choose a song that you both love – you’ll end up singing along and forget that your friends and family are watching.
- Invite everyone – have a first dance that isn’t just for you, you could invite all the couples in the room so your dance floor is filled.
- Or, if you’re really nervous or looking for more of a show stopper dance, speak to a professional and see how dance lessons may be able to help.

Q: My fiance and I are very nervous about our first dance, what can we do to feel more comfortable on the dance floor?
A: There really is no need to be nervous. After a few lessons, dancing is easier than you imagined. Jackie at Ballroom Blitz can offer you great deal in a series of private lessons to help prepare for your very special day and dance. Discounts are available depending on number of lessons booked.
I currently run 3 adult dance class & social evenings at various venues across the Wirral. I also run monthly dance lounges in both Wirral & Liverpool and also have the privilege of running the ST George’s Hall Wednesday tea dances roughly every 6-8 weeks. I also have a number of private students that I teach every Sunday. All details are on my website or contact me above.
